My silly moments

My silly moment!!!  I was playing around with the door and I locked it, with my whole family outside. Not only were they all out there, but so was I. So since it was a rainy day we were all stuck outside in the rain and it was freezing cold just like a cold water bottle out of the fridge. Then mum had an idea to bike out to my Nana's house in the rain to get the spare key off her.

In the end mum came back in the car with Nana and she found me and dad in the front yard all wrapped up in a blanket. I was so happy to see her we could finally go inside into the warmth. Once we got inside I said to mum that me and dad were trying to get the heater outside to work so we could keep warm, but instead we had to conserve body heat which kind of worked.

After that I got called a donkey for locking us out in the cold, but me being called a donkey didn’t really help at all cause I did it 5 more times. Since I did it again the family decided to get key to hide outside so we can get back inside, but if I close the garage door then we will be stuffed cause we don’t have a spare alarm to open the garage door.
Now that we have a dog I said to mum and dad we should teach her to unlock the door but they said that she’s too small to reach the door handle.

Archery and shooting reflection

Reflection for archery and shooting

· Something I was pleased with was archery and shooting, because I am a bit scared of shooting targets but I accomplished it.

· I really enjoyed learning when the bow and arrows were first made and what they are made of, because I did not know how they were made and how they what year they were found.

· Something I found hard was having to keep the bow inline with my eye and make sure I had the white feather facing up.

· Something that made me think was keeping my eye on the target for shooting, because I kept trying to get the cans beside it and around it.

· Something I want to get better at is being able to get a BULLSEYE.

          What I can do to achieve this, I need to focus on what I am shooting at.

 

Key Words About Me

 

These are my key words about me. Our class ( room 20 ) had to do 5-10 key words about them selves and put them on  tagxedo, a website exactly like wordle except you can make it a shape and play around with the colours, font and even print screen it onto paint and give it an eyeball like I did or even say who it is by like mine [ ITS MY NICKNAME ]and write something about what your key words are like.  I wrote, I love duckys which would go under love of animals, I also gave it a background which is PINK because it is one of my favourite colours. It will make all of your words twist around and do all sorts.  Like I said play around with it. Hope you enjoy!  

Travis the turkey

 

This is the turkey Travis from the book A Fistful of Feathers part of the book GUYS READ  that my teacher Mr Moriarty is reading to the class as a class book. We had to go to the website Character Scrapbook and do the title and the name of the character when you pull up the page. Then you can design your character and type in 10 things that you know about your character just like I did for Travis the Turkey. Though in my picture it is an Owl because that was the closest to a turkey in the selection of animals, there is a choice for a person as well and you can dress it and style its hair and face it is a lot of fun. I recommend you try it.

Lunch: spaghetti and meat balls.

Afternoon tea: peach, nectarine, plum.

Dinner: nachos, chicken nuggets.
